I was wondering about the folks that try to get at least one of each booster pack released… There’s probably over 100 sets with different wotc variations (1st shadowless, unlim, etc) . Do you have every single sealed booster + variation artwork as well? I imagine you do in a 7 fig collection.

When you touched on gaiaonline, man did you strike a hardcore memory of my past. Some people played Runescape growing up, some WoW, to me it was also Gaiaonline. The angelic halo dream haha. I was an ‘05-‘11 account religiously with my older brother. Great times

I kid. Amazing collection. I’m the total opposite in that I cannot keep myself from opening sealed product. The very little bit that I own I have to keep out of reach.
Do you have plans to pick up every set you’ve missed in that time? Or have you been picking them up separately along the way? It’s quite crazy how even the recent stuff is shooting up shortly after it goes out of print. Already seeing some SM boxes in the few hundred dollar range and some XY boxes passing $1k.

if you retire right now, and you want your income to be around 50k, then you need (assuming you live to be around 100) 75x50k = 3.75m in today’s money value. hope your collection covers you.
You forget gaining interest on that lump sum, or reinvesting it
