Yugioh Question: Is this Yugioh" SAMPLE " stamp real?

I purchased a sample card of ebay from a reputable seller, and the seller has one more still listed up.
My main concern is: Is this stamp real or a aftermarket stamp? How would I go about testing this or telling if it is indeed aftermarket?
There is no data on this card. The only sample card documented out there is a Sample Summoned Skull which was given by upper deck way back when Yugioh came out!

The listing: www.ebay.com/itm/Yugioh-Giant-Soldier-of-Stone-SDY-013-1st-Edition-SAMPLE-MISPRINT-ERROR/323268408099?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I would really appreciate the help!

Looks like an easy stamp to produce.

Thats my main concern. I will have to find my other yugioh oddities that are proven legit and compare the stamp.

But why put it on such a cheap and forgettable card?

I feel like it might be real just because I can’t see someone going out of their way to fake something like this.

Then again, why would a company use this as a sample card?

*cheap forgettable and scratched

Oh… I have this one in my watching list and was doubting whether I should buy it or not: www.ebay.com/itm/Yugioh-Sorcerer-of-The-Doomed-SDY-038-1st-Edition-SAMPLE-CARD-MISPRINT-ERROR/323268407625 I messaged the seller four days ago asking how he acquired it or whether he has any more info on it, but no response thus far.

It’s the same seller.
Since they are from the same set (SDY 1st ed.), it’s of course possible they came from the same Sample lot. As mentioned by Gary however, it’s a pretty easy stamp to fake. Not to mention the Summoned Skull sample stamp is reversed and in a different font:

Until I have received a message from the seller, I’ll stay away from it for now. I’m definitely interested if it is real, though.

When I contacted the seller he said he can confirm it is real, but didnt know the origins. But he wouldnt tell me how he can confirm it is real. He is indeed a reputable seller but i am having my doubts on this card.

When you compare the Giant Solider of Stone “Sample” stamp to other stamped Yugioh cards, one thing i noticed is that the ink print is not solid or pure white like the " discard" stamped card or the " Sample" Summoned Skull Stamp. And yes as Gary said it looks like the stamp can easily be reprinted. Please let me know if the seller responds to you.

I’m not necessarily saying it’s fake. I’m saying it looks easy to reproduce the card with that stamp,
If you like yugioh oddities, and it’s not expensive, I say go for it;)

I guess comparing it to my other stamps it is a bit off, but in terms of risk/ money loss the risk is low if it were a fake as this card isn’t priced as much as a FPO cards. And as we speak, it looks like the other copy sold or the listing was ended.

And yeah I do like picking up some Yugioh/ Pokemon/ other TCG oddities from time to time!

I know, and I agree. I’m not trying to say it’s real or fake either, just some thoughts I have.

I also agree with getting it, as long as it’s not an investment. Would be a unique addition to someone’s collection.

Interestingly both his " Sample " Yugioh card listings sold yesterday after I made this thread! Imma just assume they are real sample cards since other bought them! Anyways guys, thanks for all the help and info! My mind is at peace now haha!

If you are curious this was the other sample lots that sold yesterday:
