Ughh. I know. Awful. Must means something larger is at play here. Quite possibly even an international reveal of Double Crisis, most likely on the release date of corocoro magazine (which is the 15th? I can’t imagine the February issue not mentioning anything at all about the big January Pokémoon TCG release.) International reveal is the only reason I can think of to have such a delay on Japan’s advertising of a new release.
Double Crisis is a Mini Set. There likely won’t be a HUGE reveal or lots of hype about it? Think about Shiny Collection or Dragon Selection… Eventhough they were smaller mini sets there wasn’t a ton of hype…
I imagine it’s probably going to be the only thing for Team Magma and Team Aqua themed Pokémon this time around. Look at how limited Team Flare stuff has been; this release also has a number of EX’s (while the first 2 mini sets didn’t entirely have as much going for them, imo. Meloetta-EX…okay =p). Also, The set afterward is already not really teamed themed again with Emerald Break. I’m just concerned because it comes out in less than 3 weeks in Japan, and they always have a good ahead of time announcement to have kids be aware of things going on.

If the produced an Unown mini set right now with wicked awesome FA’s of each, I’d be on that like white on rice. $1 packs containing a single card or something. Would be so cool.

Is it bad that I absolutely hate Unknown merchandise? I loved the concept in the Pokemon games, but as a card, I found it frustrating opening packs and getting absurd quantities of Unknown. 
Well, I’m talking about the holo Unown subset, finally one set where it has A to Z plus ? and !. I remember pulling them from booster packs, and it’s hard to get all 28 in 2 boxes

I only pulled 2 in a 20 packs, fresh out of a box. :\
But yes, that is my favorite “mini set.” Though I am biased toward the Japanese print.
I’m only missing two of those holo Unowns to Complete my Unseen Forces Set. Unown U + Unown ?. The Unown ? is going to be a real pain to find since it goes for like $10 even on TrollAndToad…

New Gym Challenge promos leak! Nothing too interesting, but a Fearow in the set has a new, green, ancient trait. Assuming we’ll see something along the lines of “Delta ____” as a new ancient trait in the new set. REALLLY hoping we get it on M Rayquaza EX.

We will probably see 1 or 2 promotional ‘leaks’ over the month of Feb. Japanese releases tend to be a lot tighter than English sets so you have to wait for the weekend/few days before the true release date for leaks.
