I assumed the basis for the criticism to be that prices fluctuate considerably.

That’s exactly my point. Most people here with inventory to sell don’t have time for price discussion if you don’t give an offer price.

Also, why would we assume you’re willing to pay a fair price if you don’t tell us what that price is?

No I don’t, I actually need this card too. As I said, I’m trying to help you make an effective WTB thread.

It has nothing to do with a disappointing low offer either, it’s about time. A lot of people here don’t want to waste time. Sure, to you it seems quick and easy enough, but you have to understand people make threads like yours everyday, and many times they aren’t making serious offers. So while you may be serious, most people won’t believe it unless you make an offer.

No I don’t, I actually need this card too. As I said, I’m trying to help you make an effective WTB thread.
