WTB Festa Mew PSA 10

Hi EFour!

I’ve been a semi lurker here for a while and am a huge fan of mew for which I’ve been trying to get each Mew card in Japanese and English. This started with me first pulling a gold star mew when I was a kid!

Long story short, I’m extremely interested in buying a Festa Mew PSA 10 and am willing to offer $7500 for it. I don’t see this card sold much but that is higher than last eBay PSA 10 sold from what I can see. If you have one I’d love to see if we can work something out! I have USD for this but can also utilize trade if people prefer. I’ve got Moonbreon PSA 10 I’m willing to trade if we want to go that route.

Also if you have a bottom price you’d be willing to sell that is above my offer I’d love to know so I can get a better feel for the market!

I am mainly interested in the PSA 10, but would also love to see if any other cards are available too.

Japanese mews are up 200-600% since the last public sale of a festa when they had a 5k price floor. More for vintage and semi vintage, less for modern

If I put mine up for auction right now, I am very confident it would yield atleast 13k-14k$, possibly over 20k

Thanks for the response. Yeah it does seem like the market has been hot recently. Interesting to hear on pricing. I’d still love to hear if people are interested in selling what they’d let theirs go for!

There’s been 5 sales here in JP just in February starting from $6k, to the last sale at $10k (lowest listing at $13.5k).

Mew prices have been going crazy here and it doesn’t help that in the same timespan, the Pikachu festa has gone from $8k to $18k.

There was a time the Mew was more expensive than the Pikachu, but the Pikachu seems to be towing the Mew lately–I assume because of newer collector/investors. Given the pop and the fact I would probably not be able to afford to buy it back, my floor to even consider letting it go would have to be around $20k. Obscene, I know, but the market is stupid now and I really like the Arita artwork and sig. You might catch a downturn at your price point but I have a suspicion $8-$10k will probably be the new floor even after market correction. Tough time to try and buy into it, but it could become nutty expensive and $7.5k could be a steal later on. I respect the quest and your number is reasonable but I would be surprised if you could secure a 10 for that price unless you get lucky and I hope you do.

Sounds good. Appreciate you letting me know what you’d let it go for. Yeah I’m probably more willing to pay somewhere in the 8-10k range than a lot higher.

I guess I’m open to a bit higher if anyone else has one and curious what others are selling the non 10s for as well.
