WTB English 1999-2000 Jungle Print Run Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff

Hi everyone! As stated in the title, I am looking to buy the 1999-2000 Jungle print of the Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff cards. For those of you who do not know me, my fiance is an Igglybuff/Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff collector and these cards would make a great addition towards her goal of completing the species-set.

I have prices stated below, but I’m not sure of any recent sales so please consider all prices as very negotiable. As per usual, offering price varies on condition but I strongly prefer NM/Mint.

  • Jigglypuff non-holo - $50
  • Wigglytuff non-holo - $100
  • Wigglytuff holo - $200

For reference, below is a video Gem Mint Pokemon posted today regarding this print-run. In summary, the cards have a semi-glossy card stock and most have lighter coloration.

I want that Eevee that he pulled

Hey mate, just a heads up, the Holographics pulled from 1999-2000 Jungle packs have no visual differences, it’s only the rares, uncommons and commons

I opened 2 Red Logo Jungle Booster Boxes about 10 years ago and have the cards still in my collection just FYI.

Watch the vid it’s the other 1999-2000. X

The Snorlax he pulled doesn’t appear to have any differences? unless I missed something?

There’s quite a variety of colour difference out there. Some vary a lot and some vary not a lot. Need comparison cards to see the ranges.

The holos from 1999-2000 jungle packs are known to be comparable to regular holos. If you’re claiming they’re variants, you’d need to show proof

Colour differences can happen across print runs and even within the same print run of sets. The glossy card stock (which the holos don’t have) is what makes the 1999-2000 jungle cards truly unique and identifiable.

There’s Holo variance in base and fossil? Do you think jungle is different?

As I said, there is no difference between a 1999-2000 jungle holo and a 1999 jungle holo

This is really interesting. I checked my stack of jungle bulk for you but no luck on jigglypuff. Found a gloom and tauros though and the differences in card stock is really noticeable as well as the lighter color.

Now that I’m looking at my unlimited base bulk I’m finding cards with the same differences. They have the same smoother/glossier card stock and lighter color like 4th print base but don’t have the 1999-2000 date.

Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff acquired! Special thanks to @acebren for selling me one of his Jigglypuffs and providing a secondary confirmation on my Wigglytuff purchase!
