WOTC card box

Hey guys im looking for some wotc cardboxes or any info on them eg. How many types are there and if you know anyone with them
I have the 2 pictured but ive seen a team rocket one but it was a flatpack and not sealed.

I have some of these card boxes myself. Both base set and fossil. I have one that is flat and has never been assembled.

I do not think that WOTC sealed packs with these card boxes, like you have in the pictures. WOTC shipped out these card boxes to card shops, flat and unassembled in large stacks. I think card shops would shrink wrap the packs on top of the assembled card boxes and sell these as a bundle deal. Notice the shrink wrap does not have the WOTC logos.

Probably a private person shrink wrapping these, like you said. I’ve seen a few of these pop up from time to time. I remember someone said that there local card shop sold them like this, with the pack sealed to box. Maybe they all originated from that card shop?

I had a chance a while back to buy a sealed stack of the fossil boxes (flat unnasembled boxes). You could tell that’s how WOTC shipped them out.

Considering they have been sealed by a third party, you could get all the loose components and seal it yourself if you really want to, but I don’t agree with after market resealing done by private individuals and personally view the ones you currently own as tainted

I could buy them and do it myself but they’re too hard to come across!
And tainted… lol if you think so, itd class it as protection. The seal is keeping the box and booster in mint condition

You’re taking quality collectables and adding a very shady element to it by adding the seal imo

I think it is card stores who sealed them, because I see these stickers sometimes in the box:

Granted an individual can also do this, but seems like extra work for not much reasons!
