The last entry time is an hour before closing.

Lottery to enter

Applications run June 19 to July 3 (be mindful of time differences)

Lottery results will be delivered at 2pm on July 13th, the results of the lottery will be sent to your registered email address regardless of whether you won or lost.

If you win, you can bring up to 4 people (including the winner).

Some things I noticed going through the items:

• Every year they have a Pikachu plush (obviously). The Lapras & Pikachu plush is more expensive than normal.

• The dice box has been done for the past few years. There were like 4 or 5 versions at London, there were only 2 types mentioned this year.

• Two jackets stand out. The Sukajan jacket is the style like the images below. It will be ~$150 USD so a more premium item. The denim jacket is also pricey

• The “Shupatto Compact Bag” looks like the image below:
  

  

• The tenugui is like a multi-purpose cloth meant to be worn or hung

• The furoshiki cloth is used to like wrap a gift

• Overall most product seems to rely heavily on Pikachu, Lapras and the three starters based on the descriptions. Notably there is a Tatsugiri chopstick rest

wow the merch is fire! I love how the merch are this year compared to previous, as its not the usual shirt, deckbox, playmat and plushies.

however, seeing the lines on pokemon card releases in japan nowadays strike fear into my heart

Will they limit how much people can buy? I would assume that scalpers will want to get in on this.

Yes, they put limits on the most popular items for previous World’s

How quick were they to replenish stock? Was there a set amount allocated per day or did they periodically stock during each day?

From what I recall, the most popular stuff like the pikachu statue, playmats, shirts basically sold out on the first day. The pikachu plush sold out by the Saturday. Your best bet for inventory is to lottery for a morning spot on an early day (but also realize these are probably the most competitive times)

I have read somewhere a while ago, that certain worlds product will be available on regular pokemon centers. do we know which? (or all?)

I think this is the first reveal of what the “Yokohama 2023” design looks like

So far the Yokohama themed merch is quite…generic… That skyline doesn’t even look like Yokohama except for the Ferris wheel even though Yokohama has a number of distinct buildings. Also, I think most don’t really associate Chinese style ramen, or onigiri, or dango with Yokohama. Not really feeling too bad about missing out on everything so far. Seems like you could buy any Japan-themed stuff and basically get the same thing.

Yes it has that but the ramen there comes from all over Japan not just Yokohama. Yokohama is known for Chinese food because of Chinatown and it does have sanmamen which is a local ramem dish but the food that locals associate the most is probably shumai IMO. I don’t really get the connection with onigiri and dango especially. Those feel especially generic

Probably just meant to be kept generic I guess. Just something that is more commonly associated with the whole of Japan (through various media) rather than specifically to Yokohama.
