(WIP) Japanese Top Seika Pokémon Gum Card Checklist (2002+)

I’m curious too, as the contents are wholly innocuous. I’ve never seen a Google doc get taken down for a violation either.

Not sure what happened, but the original link is working again haha

Probably just a weird system error then.

This is kinda weird… It’s not from the Hoenn dex, and it’s not listed on the “Top” or Title style 3D cards. Just bringing it to yall’s attention.

Weird. I wasn’t aware of the green-border ADV VS cards getting a 3D reprint. The green-border set was a second ADV set, mostly based on Hoenn dex pokemon, but there were a few Generation IV pokemon included in the set due to their introduction in the Lucario and the Mystery of Mew movie. This set looks like it might be a lot rarer, at least on Ebay US—haven’t looked on Mercari Japan yet. I’ll look into it when I have more time, but thanks for pointing this card out.

I was able to find one other no-number, green-border 3D reprint card while quickly looking through Ebay.

@Captain_Corsola Do you happen to know much about this set or have some of them?

@bbobrob There should only be four of these no number 3D variants, the Lucario, Bonsly, Mime Jr, and Weavile. I’ll get some pictures later today from my binder. Although these four have the art from the green border set, I think they were part of the 3D Pink Border set since they have similar backs. From my experience, they are a bit harder to find than the pink border 3D variants, so maybe they were secret rares or something from the 2nd 3D set

Thanks for the information! The card design/layout is really similar to the pink-border 3D variants, so I think you’re right that they’re probably part of the same set. It’s all kind of remiscent of the green-border holo cards, which are also four in number and missing a set number (which I also presume to mean they were like the secret rares of the set). I’ll have to change up the order of the sets in my article with this new information. Thanks again for the insights! :slightly_smiling_face: (And the pictures!)

Any time, I love having an excuse to go to my storage unit haha. I had never paid attention to how these don’t match the green border on the back and with the no number. Keep me updated if you ever find anything else out. Would be pretty cool if these were secret rares
