Will skrew down cases ruin cards?

don’t feed the troll

There is actually nothing to link bud or I def would. There was post earlier where a dude received a card with dry blood and pizza sauce on it as a PSA 10 and he was getting attacked for being like what the fuck. So I made a real immature thread for just a question that read: Why do booger faced basement bottom dwellers attack people’s post? And pokemon flying master thought for some reason it was directed to him.

Not a troll.

In my experience, screw down cases are fine if you don’t intend on moving the card around much. I’ve had cards leave their intended area and get stuck between plastic when shook around. They have to be recessed too, or else your card will be compressed. Decent method, but not the best.

Rudy doesn’t like them, but I’ve always had great luck with the Ultra Pro One Touch cases. They have varying thicknesses, so they are perfect for all types of card types. The edges are very well protected in these, and they allow for minimal movement. His issue seems to be if you are a Timmy and close the card on top of itself. I don’t think that justifies the dismissal of this form of card storage.

Each to their own  I personally rather encapsulate any cards that come in the category of needing more protection. Guess i don’t trust myself to not be a Timmy.

Yea I got about 100 cards in these. I’m not a Timmy they’re in there perfect. Read a lot about people going back and later removing the card only to have the ink and paper stick to plastic and peel off.

Booger face eh? I haven’t heard that one since 1999 when I was playing in the sandbox at recess.

P.s. I recommend using card savers. I personally wouldn’t use/trust screw down holders. There are many safer and more efficient options IMO.
