Hey , I’m new to the industry and am looking for a way to start getting some of the newer set booster boxes for retail price or close to it as I don’t have the funds to buy one from a previous set online somewhere .Going to target or Walmart seems like a lost cause as they are always sold out everytime I check . What is the best way to do this and what do booster boxes at retail typically go for price wise ? Any help would be appreciated ---

Stores like Walmart don’t carry booster boxes. It’s unlikely that you’d find any booster boxes at or below retail at the moment. Best bet would be TCGplayer. You can get booster boxes for new sets below retail if you preorder them. ---

local tcg stores are best, if you have any near you see if theyll hook you up ---

No too late you missed out, you will never be able to buy at retail again unless it is a garbage set. ---

We talking strictly below MSRP? I know my store is (or rather will be soon) preseling boxes below that and I’m sure some other Brick and Mortar stores will be as well. If you’re wanting $100 boxes or less though? I think that ship has sailed, at least for awhile. ---

Your best bet would be your local card shops, a quick google search should help you find those. Your other options are online marketplaces like eBay. The next English set releasing is battle styles so that would be your go to box for at or around retail when it releases ---

“Under retail” needs to be replaced with “under market” in current environment Plenty of boxes available “under market” from card shops, being in the right place/time on eBay/TCGPlayer, etc.
