Been buying lots of masterballs recently. This is the 3rd or 4th order where only about a third of them are PSA 10 worthy. Not sure if I’m unlucky or the print quality is really that bad. Just ordered some more like 10 minutes ago, though

I feel like a lot of the sellers on Mercari have cherry picked out the 10 candidates, and are selling less than optimal copies raw now. Raw prices have also doubled on a lot of cards from when the set first released this summer, yet of course PSA 10 prices have dipped.

Bought with the 20% off coupon and just shipped out today. I definitely think I overpaid lol, but in the end this fits in my collection as it’s graded by PSA and the card I wanted. I’m excited to receive it in hand.

Yeah, that’s why I try to only buy from sellers who don’t sell graded cards. Still getting a lot of them with minor scratches and weird blotches all over the back.

Picked up Pokemon Firered and Pokemon Gold today. This makes my collection of all the games from Gen I to IV almost complete. Just missing a CIB copy of Heartgold, which will be harder to find in good condition.

What’s crazy is Shadowless Charizard is worth about the same price as it was BEFORE Logan Paul. In the summer of 2020, this card was mostly listed slightly above $2,000 and selling for around $2,000 USD. I paid exactly $2,000. I think 1st edition Zard was like 8k?

True, I got my PSA 5 for under $4K and it has an Arita sig as well. It felt like a good value at the time. I think 8s should be 7-9K tops, but just my opinion. Market seems to be willing to pay a bit more the past while compared to earlier in the year. I also see less and less thick stamps for sale across all grades.
