I’ve always had the same opinion. Base 2 holos look so much nicer. It’s just the set logo stamp of death that lets them down. But then again, Legendary Collection reprints of regular holos do really well and seem to avoid the hate even though they are just another reprint so who knows.

Haha, same. The quality of the art on Moonbreon is great, no argument there. But the concept itself is not for me personally.
I never got on with the giant Pokemon thing and have no interest in any of them, nor the glass/crystal Tera variants with the goofy crowns for that matter. Just normal-sized Pokemon with no gimmicks in beautiful SIRs is enough for me and fortunately we get plenty of those.

Fun fact: This version of Godzilla was so universally hated by Godzilla fans and Toho (Japanese rights holder for Godzilla) that Toho bought the rights to this monster and had Godzilla obliterate it in 2004’s Godzilla: Final Wars. The monster has since been renamed to just Zilla.
And yes, you are hearing Sum 41 in the background. Yes, it’s even present in the Japanese version.

Depends on the card. I do think there’s a greater quantity of amazing vintage art, but modern has plenty of bangers.
however; pokemon have absolutely gotten uglier over the years, and I think there’s reason ADV is so sought after is because those sets were exclusively comprised of the better eras of Pokemon designs combined

I tried skating when I was a kid but it wasn’t my thing… I’ve picked up inlines since, but these Bear Walkers sticks are so cool, I’ve almost bought one multiple times… No way I’d mess one up skating on it tho.

I feel the exact same way regarding affordability lately. Some of these cards really are getting up there. I sold some Gym Heroes cards for crazy prices recently and this past week I scored a nice deal on the Espeon which I’ve put off forever and finally with this I have the 2 most expensive from Neo Discovery:

They were also promoting the santa cruz skateboards at worlds. I would just get one of those to practice instead.
