Picked up some cool phone cards. The foil one is basically pure silver unless you get the light just right.
The old holofoil cards are so cool!
It is really nice in person. It has like 4 or 5 layers of hologram so it has a parallax effect where the background moves differently. I have no idea how they do it but it is sure cool.
Laser etching multiple layers is my understanding. Might be a different process though. Really fun to see since it reminds me of old comic cards.
I was thinking the same thing. Those really cool Marvel early 90’s cards where they sculpted a scene.
Those were definitely done with lasers. I happen to have a breakdown that tells some of the process next to me for the process on some when they depicted picture changes 
.
I found good capsules for my coins:
Quadrum XL 42-58 (mm)
They are adjustable: for the big coins I have to remove all but 3 rings, for the smaller ones I don’t remove any ring.
I am pretty happy with them.

Some recent reverses and holos I’ve been gifted or bought recently! Various favourites of mine including some great artworks from Komiya, Atsuko Nishida and various others! EX-era Holos and reverses are seriously underrated and very affordable(outside of specific well-known exceptions):
Also finally found this card for a reasonable penny! Gorgeous card that will go straight to my PC! I love how weird/unique this artwork is.

On a serious note this has been a dream card of mine for probably years and I’m buzzing about being able to hold it! My favourite gold star by far and really just one of my favourite artworks period!
nice. have you gotten the slowpoke #14 one to go along with chikorita? by the same artist. they only made two cards.
