Picked up one of the other Pokémon Go ‘cosmos’ holos from eBay last week to add to my collection.
Grabbed Pikachu this time after getting Blissey previously.
The last one (I think) is Snorlax which is the most expensive of the three. I didn’t intentionally buy the cheaper two first but luckily I did!

I had an alert on this spiky eared Pichu for a while but didn’t check the results very regularly. But finally I found this card and I just purchased it the other day including the magazine from which it originated from.
I think the art on this is just special. And the artist is Goshu Aoyama who illustrated ‘Case closed’.

Had to pick up arguably the best Mewtwo artwork in Pokemon:
Mewtwo GX from SM3+ Shining Legends 
Have loved this artwork since day one of it coming out. It captures Mewtwo in all of his mystery and malice.
Also, since the best card in the SM3+ set was only $500 more than the booster box, seems like a great value buy to me :]

oh my gosh, no way I never realized that. But yeah looking at it, its clear as DAY! I’ve been interested to dip my toes in the Detective Conan series, but its so…daunting. Thanks for pointing this out!

I totally missed this as well upon it’s initial release. I only found out later on.
I’ve always been a Detective Conan fan but I have to admit that I didn’t pay attention to the artist when this card was released.
Not a “recent” purchase as I had bought this several months ago but it is finally in my hands. It is by far the worst condition Sugimori holo in my collection (the rest are NM) but the French copies are shockingly expensive and hard to find so when I got the opportunity I had to take it.
The hilarious story here is that the seller didn’t want to ship the card, which is understandable due to the value. As a result, I sent @BenTBK on a weekend trip from the UK to Paris to get this card in person for me in exchange for cash.
I finally have all the torchic sugimori holos in my hands which is the end of a crazy journey. I want to eventually get all of them for mudkip and treecko as well: still missing 4 mudkip, 1 treecko.

ive been a fan of this particular collection goal, just haven’t voiced it. Congrats. I’ve heard the french are very zealous about their own language cards and prices in general are high. Its great to see you finish this. Looking forward to the next part to be complete.

Thank you!!! French prices are indeed quite insane…I would say the German and Korean copies are rarer but the amount that these holos sell for in French now…
Next major collection milestone is Italian promos. I haven’t been able to find a single Italian torchic promo 8 for sale and I just need the Italian combusken promo 9 (which I’ve lost out on 2 copies recently) to finish the winner stamp starter trio
