A bit of an impulse buy
I dropped into a random comic book shop in the middle of nowhere today and found this fella.
It’s pretty rough but still displays really well and I fell in love with it.
It’s difficult to negotiate when you don’t know the first thing about gold stars (and don’t have cell service) but my gut told me to take it home so I did.
I ended up paying $220.
Hopefully I didn’t get rinsed too bad but I don’t care either way. I love it

Final Fantasy IX is my favourite Final Fantasy, but good god following Triple Triad up with Tetra Master has to be one of the biggest L’s ever. Atrocious game.

Welp, after sourcing this pop 2 Azumarill from Sandstorm, I think it’s safe to say I’ve got a new collection goal that’s looking a bit more possible!
(The case looks like it could use some plastX haha)
My goal at the moment is the Marill evo line in PSA 10 from these eras:
