Almost finished my Neo 1st Ed dex. But started with none, and have almost all but Espeon and Umbreon.

The WotC Black Star Pichu sheet I picked up in July is one of the most significant items in my collection. This is the sheet Wizards used to authorise that the print run of the card could go ahead. It’s crazy that this even exists, and I’m very curious to see if any more Pichu sheets appear in future.

I never thought I would own this promo anytime soon, but this New Year’s present Fan Club Promo completed my Komiya Collection in 2021 in terms of all card artworks. I got it for a great price via a great friend that helped me find & getting it. I’m so grateful for having it and a great way to close off and remember my major collection goals in my Komiya collection!

Finally adding Espeon and Umbreon Gold Star to 100% complete my English set was the biggest thrill of the year. Ironically they both arrived at the same time via FedEx from different sellers.

I’m unable to pick just one. Last year I would defintely have said the unlimited WCP Seviper to 100% complete my Seviper collection. (I had not realized it’s been more than a year already! Time has flown by without notice.) At this point, every new Pikachu addition is an amazing addition to my collection, so I’m just gonna post the six amazing and rare Pikachu cards I added to my collection this year:

I was able to grade a couple psa 10 Natta Wake Psyducks this year to complete my Natta set. This felt great as it was one of my first goals in the hobby, so finishing the set was the 2021 highlight for me. I’m also a big fan of art from the Edo period so I picked up the stamp box cards.

Probably either one (or both) of these two. Raichu is htf in a mint grade due to psa not grading them. Blastoise was expensive so I’m glad I have it out of the way! Really love these two

Too many to list honestly. Bought a lot in the past couple months. Been offloading overpriced stocks for profit and putting a good chunk into TCGs that I collect as the prices have cooled off a lot. Really happy with what I’ve managed to pick up though, especially compared to the 2020 hysteria which I refused to buy into at the time as I knew it simply wouldn’t last. Took me a while to find such a well centered Squirtle and he’s my favourite starter by far. Definitely a keeper for me.

I added two once in a life time items to my collection this year that I never thought I’d ever be able to own. Both were made possible solely by the generosity of friends as well, so that makes them even more special to me.

My Himeno signed TMB nametag was made possible with help from @149montblanc when I found out buyee wouldnt allow me to bid last minute.

My Trophy Kangaskhan was offered to me by @chok who knew I was looking for a copy for many years.
