Suicune=Entei>Raikou>Articuno>Zapdos>>Moltres for me personally.

Suicune and Entei are among my absolute favs of all time. Raikou is awesome as well but just not on the same level for me. Articuno is hands down my fav of the birds. Zapdos is cool and Moltres is alright. 6/10 sort of Pokemon in my book.

I’m honestly shocked whenever I get reminded of how surprisingly “unpopular” the three doggos are compared to a lot of other Pokemon.

Unfortunately that card (and many others) was confiscated by a teacher at school, and then stolen from the teacher’s desk by someone. (still salty that the teacher was just like ‘oh well oops’ after losing my property)

Always loved the birds, probably Articuno for me. The level where it appears in pokemon snap is majestic.

Truthfully, I never quite understand the three “beasts” and don’t love them. My first catch of them was Raikou, but Suicune has the better design IMO.

I take it you didn´t grow up with Pokémon Gold/Silver? The Burned Tower is quite the happening. There is a lot of lore behind it/them.

Thanks for making this poll, it’s a very insightful comparison!

For me the order would be:

  1. Suicune (strong number 1)

  2. Raikou

  3. Zapdos

  4. Entei

  5. Moltres

  6. Articuno (I’ve never realized how popular it is. Sorry Articuno fans, I’m scarred from MD red rescue team)

Was gonna say suicune, then thought articuno, but decided zapdos ALWAYS stands out, no matter my ADHD mood.

Raikou > Articuno > Suicune > Entei=Moltres > Zapdos

Articuno was the first Legendary Pokémon I found in Pokémon Blue when I was 11, it was so beautiful. But I had used my Master Ball just 5 minutes earlier on a Psyduck… and I ended up knocking out Articuno. I’ll always remember it.

Yeah, the hunt for Articuno was definitely the best at the Seafoam islands. This was actually my favourite spot in the game and the place where I usually got half my team.

Articuno has a really nice overall design, with every aspect giving a smooth, elegant feel to match the concept. I don’t think Dos or Tres quite gets there… Uno is my innitial first thought, but then I think more… curse my neurodivergence…

Similar to Uno, I love the design of Regice for how well it hits the theme. Rock is good, but Ice just really nails the “ancient monolith made of ice and magic” feel. Rock feels a little too organic, and I’d have liked a more rock-carved look. While steel is just very futuristic.
