A lot of us must have plenty of cards that we’ve gotten in our collection because someone here gave a helping hand, be it someone linking it to you, middlemaning something or being the actual seller parting with the card. Show everyone the cards, link the user and tell the possible stories!
I have numerous examples especially in slime army but i’ll start with the jumbo New Year Present by Tomokazu Komiya where @inertgeometry shared the link for a underpriced deal for the card and i managed to snag the card!

Too many to name tbh. I’ve got loads of cards either directly or indirectly thanks to E4 members, some all the way back when I just started collecting. E.g. @woolsluk mentioned noodles (inactive these days) was the dad of the Japanese Art Academy red raincoat Pikachu winner and was selling them back in August 2016, when I was still a noob and very new here on the forum (I joined in Feb. 2016), which helped me get my first Art Academy card at the time:
I’m also forever grateful for @chibicollectables for contacting me first to sell me the last English Pikachu I was missing, another Art Academy Pikachu (the kabuki one by Ashley), when he upgraded his own copy from a BGS-8 to BGS-9:
And although it’s not tied to a specific item per se, I’m also very grateful to the handful of E4 members who link me Pikachu, Seviper, and Yu-Gi-Oh listings on a semi-regular basis and keeping an eye out for anything from my wanted list, even if I do occasionally already own most of the ones that get linked 
, like you @joponnes, @queendrifloon, @bbobrob, @goonhoon, etc. etc. (Sorry if I haven’t mentioned anyone explicitly, I appreciate all of you who help me and encourage me to complete my collection goals!)

Hard-to-find at the time, to complete my arita POP collection, I bough this from Rusty. His was the only copy available. Had him sign it. Think PSA would auth a Rusty sig?

I’ll also post a second example as this was the last topps johto hologram that i needed to complete not also that set but also my whole topps collection (even though one card did surface later after the completion), @TCAGaming sold me that last piece even though he didn’t want the payment for him but instead i donated it in the charity project he had back then. Still part of one of my most loved binder pages

A huge portion of my collection has come via the help of many friends here and species collectors alike, with way, way too many to name them all. Connections and friendships made here on the forum and as part of the hobby have become incredibly precious to me over my years of being here, and I genuinely couldn’t have accomplished what I have without the help of so many kind folks in the community, both online and in person.
My absolute favorite card in this category is probably my Italian Pokemon Day Piplup promo, with help from none other than the Torterra master himself, @TorterraSimp
If I’m remembering correctly, selling me this card was one of our first interactions together, and from that, I’ve found a valuable friend to fact check against, commiserate with about hard to find Sinnoh starters, and discover new prints with (like the alternate holos for the DP-era Japanese deck kits we found earlier this year!).
So many cards in my collection have stories of being passed across the world to get to me, and I’m so happy to have found this little pocket of the internet years ago.

Back in 2020/2021 I was on the hunt for all the ex cards from Dragon Frontiers in PSA 9 and Latias was refusing to pop up. One finally did, but didn’t ship to my country, they did however ship to the country of @shizzlemetimbers who I was the secret santa for the year prior! He middleman’d this to me and I couldn’t be more grateful. Genuinely one of my favorite cards

@totodile_in_pursuit generously sold me this raw copy when I started collecting all cameos! I thought it was going to take me years to track down an unlimited WCP version, especially as it’s an obscure uncommon trainer card from the set.
I sent it to PSA as part of my first submission and hit a 10!

Regarding slime, my biggest purchase of all time also came with the help of E4, the almighty cosmos foil fossil muk came through @bbobrob hands as he helped me with middlemaning the card
