What would be the value of a complete Generations Red and Blue Set (as is the Charizard, Venasaur, Blastoise and Pikachu) boxes? Are they worth more if they are the European version, with the oversized promo, or the North American version, with the figures? Thanks for your help!
I think the collection of all 8 would be worth the most, but I’m not sure how much of a premium someone is going to pay for them all being together, as it is fairly easy to pick up all of them in the $20-30 range right now. I would think you would do well to sell at $300 right now for the 8, for now half that for 4 of them
I don’t think it makes much difference now, but long term I see a bit more value in the Jumbos, because you can still get those shipped for 20-30 from Europe , but eventually those will run out and I would assume there people have fewer of those available in the US, also because besides from a few sellers shipping to the US, they pay higher prices in Europe for their product in general anyway. Also I think Jumbos are normally preferable over figures, maybe doesn’t matter for these, as they are popular species and have some value either way
I prefer the figures, It could be because I dont own and as im in the UK and jumbos are readily available ha! Id like some of the figures though rather than jumbo cards
