As you can see some of the edges have some wear on the front do you think it’ll at least get an 8? Or nah

Modern english has issues with corner wear right out of the pack as well.

Probably? I’d guess a 9. I recently graded a bunch of Terastal festival SAR’s and some had worse centering than this, I got all 9’s and 10’s
It’s not the centering I’m worried about it’s the edges
What you’re highlighting doesn’t look like edge wear to me, but how the card was cut. I think it’ll do well at PSA. Maybe a PSA 9 given the centering. I would be shocked if it got lower than a PSA 8.
I say 10 or 9. If you’re happy with an 8 you should probably send it in.

It’s always hard to pre-grade on pictures but it looks like a solid 9 with a shot at a 10 to me.
Why though? Why not just a Pro- Mold (which is lab grade) magnetic cover and enjoy the card.
Lab grade = photolytic resistant for 5 years.
Whats up with this obsession for locking your card in a garbage piece of plastic and ruining it with some dusty dudes perception of grade?
9 because it’s a little heavy on the left and top border. The image isn’t quality enough to see the edges but I’ve ripped a case before and know first hand that many cards that come out of Terastal Fest have really really bad top or bottom edge cuts. So I’d double check the edges. I’m fairly certain this card won’t get a 10 but PSA does tend to be more lenient on Japanese cards.
Did a card grader hurt you?
This sort of ‘edge wear’, like others have said, is actually just the factory cut and (typically) is ignored by PSA. If you’re happy with the centering and its just this damage then you have a good chance of a 10. The centering does look a little questionable but it can be hard to tell from pics.

In general people think PSA is harsher than they are. They are generally harsh on vintage but modern get handed out 10s pretty generously even if they have a print line or white corner dots. And Japanese card quality is higher in general
