It is, but I’m a groupie lol. The Leafeon is another 8 for me and the Sylveon is a 10. The rest were trash for my tastes art wise
If the older arts were full arts do you think you’d like those ones more? Just curious as to how people feel about modern/older cards
I definitely would. These are some of my all time favorite eeveeloution arts, from vintage to modern. A larger size would change up the composition but it could definitely change my personal rankings
Full art versions, while 3 of 4 of these are crappy ai mockups I found on the internet I can only imagine how nice the full arts from the actual artists would be

My unpopular opinions:

Most gold stars look bad. The Rayquaza, Torchic, and Metagross are okay.

I hate the design of mega cards, the CGI and all the noise from the written signature attack and attack effects, the full arts were a little better but nothing I’ll ever like or want.
I do like the cleaner layout of the upcoming ones but they are too smoothed out, at least the old ones looked like they had some detail/texture in the CGI art of the mon and attack effects. They went cheaper on the budget AND put in less effort lol.
At least we’ll be getting ARs and SARs hopefully to make up for that hot garbage.
Hoping every mega (old and new) gets the AR/SAR treatment. Will be very disappointed if they don’t (even though they likely will not

Most the CGI half art BW gold border secret rares look awful, especially that Blastoise that is half Shrek in the face.
The Garde (non cgi I think since it was Arita) Renu are mid.
The Zoroark looks incredible though -
The art academy Gourgeist is one of the best arts in the entire TCG, the other art academy ones are okay at best

The non-shiny Tera Zard SAR is the best looking Charizard card this (SV) generation. The shiny version SAR and 151 SAR look awful

That Espeon would be an absolute 10/10 if it showed more of the reflection. It feels kinda incomplete as is imo.

I always imagined the reflection Espeon being made of energy with with huge aura behind it, showing the power inside the Espeon

Unsure if this is unpopular or not, but I have always hated trainer’s pokemon cards. IDK maybe cause as a kid it annoyed me cause I wanted it to by MY pokemon and that annoyance carried over? In any case I mostly still cant stand them with a few exceptions.
