In middle school I used to attach my empty booster packs on the walls of my room and my sister kept bullying me about it asking “why do you want to display trash??” I liked the booster pack artworks so much but looking back yeah the argument does make sense. Should have put them into a proper display at least before putting them up on the wall or something.

I have some empty booster packs saved still and back in the day I used to save everything… Now I’m like: why?? So I went through them and only saved the ones that I really liked and some older ones. Now if a new set comes out I don’t save packs at all unless there’s a Pokemon on it that I like or if I reeeeally like an artwork, then I may save one.

But thanks to this pack saving I managed to find empty Unseen Forces and Legend Maker packs and I thought that was kinda cool.

When his mouth is closed, you can still se it. So isn’t it his lips?
I kinda like it not gonna lie. Makes him look more like a snake, than a dragon

Rayquaza’s mouth takes his design from S tier to like B tier. It’s so awkward and bad compared to the rest of his design

not sure if anyone said it yet, but shiny pokemon are over-rated.

In playing the Pokemon game, your objective as a trainer is to beat your opponent in a Pokemon match/game (whether is it TCG or the VGC tournaments). A shiny trait doesn’t make a Pokemon stronger. High IV and EV stats do.

The energies on the back of japanese cards are the only seven types that should exist.

With that same logic, do you also think things like 1st edition stamps are overrated? You can get the exact same card that does the exact same attacks for much cheaper than its 1st edition counterpart. Same goes for alternate arts compared to their normal variants. People like to collect rare and unique items regardless of the utility of that item, whether it’s a video game, or piece of cardboard.

The new radiant blastoise looks trash

He looks a bit cartoony. Curious to see how it feels with the Japanese layout.

Yeah I’m sure the Japanese version will look much better, something just doesn’t look right with the English version. Almost as if it’s a fake card from the early 2000s

why does every set need some new gimmick? Just call them shining pokemon so people can actually have some consistency when collecting.

Even if I liked radiant pokemon, I know they’ll be gone forever in like 2 sets leaving me with a total of maybe 10 cards to collect

The radiant pokemon don’t really speak to me, the Trainer’s Galleries seem to be much more appealing. That Pikachu from Phantasma is phenomenonal

There’s Mega Rayquaza for those that hate his red gums

I do think some cards featuring shiny Pokemon just for the sake of depicting a shiny are overrated, e.g. many cards in GX Ultra Shiny/Hidden Fates or Shiny Star V/Shining Fates. If it’s just a card showing a shiny plus some sparkles with no background art, the shiny doesn’t save it from being a dull card.

TPC should always make the amount of cards in a set a multiple of 9, so it always perfectly fits in a standard binder.

I hate it when a set ends awkwardly on the first slot of a new page and you don’t really know wheter to fill the gaps with stuff that doesn’t actually belong there or leave it barren and empty. Ugh.

Dang Jungle and that lone Poke Ball.

I hate looking at my Celebrations Master Set because the big 3 are not all on the same binder page. So infuriating!!!

After the paleontology exhibition in Japan I would love to see Pokémon do more exhibits showcasing their connection to natural and cultural history and mythology. But first and foremost a collab with Jurassic Park-World would be nice.

It’s yours and you have the whole set, order it in the way you prefer most!
