I generally feel like this too, the amount of content creators at events/shows is annoying and I don’t want to be in the background of a million random YouTube videos at a pokemon event lol
if you just get a few moments of the crowd to voice over later in post, that’s cool with me - it feels less disruptive. I don’t mind that. It’s the people yelling into their camera that they are holding at eye level, that annoy me.
I live downtown in Toronto and often see people make travel/tourist vlog videos and don’t mind that as long as I’m not stuck walking behind them on the sidewalk lol. If I walk by a person standing on the side with their camera, it’s better imo haha.

Don’t they also do this at shows to prevent/catch people stealing?

I would think so. Security > Content. But, I personally, expect to be in someone’s content… Cameras, AI Glasses… I recently learned there’s jargon for people who wear camera or AI glasses, recording everything. It started with Google Glass: They’re called “glass holes”.
It’s a content crazy world out there… We all gotta wear disguises now…

I’ve developed a visceral reaction to unsolicited pukemon content in my unsolicited youtube shorts recommendations. I’d rather take a thousand untrained golden retrievers wrecking house plants or food aggressive shelter cats than someone squealing “1 MILLIUN DOLLAERS” about unlimited Charizards.
