Thanks, I will certainly be checking out that thread, and will be cautious of Vinted. Iāve only made a couple of small orders so far, which should be arriving in the next week or soā¦
The ruby zard just happened to catch my eye, I certainly wonāt be splashing out the Ā£800 they want for it!

Yeah, I actually just viewed the other base Charizard theyāve listed, and considering the fairly reasonable condition of both cards, is it not a little sus that they wouldnāt have them graded? Iāll be first to admit though I am a complete novice! For all I know, listings like those could be completely legit. Either way, seems like this will definitely be the place for me to float any queries. Good to know!

Joined E4 because I remember I found a really neat article sometime about something, and I could t remember where I found it. And Iāve been subscribed to @PokemonClassics for a while and he always had it at the bottom of his banner. So I lurked and lurked and lurked and eventually jumped in the pool and posted my first thread about iNvEstEr BrOs.
My favorite pokemans is Charizard, Pikachu, and Mewtwo, though I really like a lot of other pokemon.
I collect graded cards. Mostly PSA but I have some CGC Pristine 10s in there as well. Nothing crazy but Iām really proud of it 
Some day I might probably could hopefully possibly make a āmy collectionā thread but weāll cross that bridge when we get there lol

Been a lurker for a while now, my relationship with pokemon has been predominantly through the games and anime, but I started buying cards again at the end of 2024 (as did lots of people). I always knew about cards when I was younger, but I never learnt how to play so I didnāt buy as many as I could have. Been playing TCGL on and off during the past year and I like watching old formats too.
I wonāt say what I collect for now, but Iāll make a post when Iām done

Hi, Iām an Italian collector!
For me, as for a lot of ā90 kids, pokemon was more than just a passion, it was an incredibly important part of my life through childhood.
Growing up I never quitted collecting but I eventually lost a bit of that spark and deep connection to the hobby.
Especially in recent times I felt like pokemon lost most of its innocence to shift to a more mainstream and investing thing.
Also completing sets with chase cards like crystal, shining and gs was getting difficult because of prices. I grew distant from the hobby during the years 2019/2022.
Then I find my niche.
Until then Iāve always collected only Italian and English cards because i grew up with those. Then I found curiosity in Japanese promos. And I started studying, digging, discovering beautiful stories behind cards that taught me a lot about pokemon tcg history.
I discovered E4, which is the place I learnt most of the things I know now.
It was a breath of fresh air, I could see again the beauty of the hobby and discovered a healthy community.
So even If Iām joining just now Iāve been reading and feeling part of this community for few years already.
A couple years ago I gave my collection a direction. I decided it should have been a Tropical Mega Battle and Psyduck themed collection.
As soon as I started reading about TMB I became obsessed with it and fell in love with the ā99 tropical wind.
I donāt know how to explain it but every time I look at it, it brings me peace and joy.
Maybe the colors, maybe the mood of the card, but it feels extremely nostalgic and reconnects me to my childhood and to the simple reason I started collected 22 years ago.
On top of that Psyduck is my favorite pokemon and Kizuki my favourite artist. To me that card is just perfect.
But it is very expensive and rare, especially in Europe. In the end, after 2 years searching on the market every day, while still learning about TMB, I finally bought my copy!!
So Iām here to celebrate with all of you my biggest accomplishment so far as a collector and to thank you for the beautiful community.
I hope to share with you opinions, knowledge and great cards!
