Hi, Iām Cain
I got into Pokemon back in the late 90ās when I worked in a comic book store and the TCG came out. I used to play every day during my lunch break against one of our regulars a county District Attorney. My fave deck to use was a Chansey based energyless stall deck.
My parents kept my cards for years and mailed them to me recently. Iāve started to play a bit with my 11 year old daughter. I collected from Base Set to Gym Heroes/Challenge.
I donāt have any fantastic cards left but some good ones. Best probably a couple 1st ed. Charmanders , Squirtles anda Bulbasaur, a couple redcheek Pikachuās. Debating sending them to CGC mostly to protect them and verify them.
Happy to be here and glad the hobby is alive and well.

Great backstory and welcome to forum. I was tensing up in anticipation that your parents likely threw out your cards. Glad to know you still have them! Also great to hear youāre still playing and look forward to the next update.

Thanks! I donāt collect any more. I buy a random pack here and there but thatās about it. Right now Iām sifting through my old cards and trying to learn if I should send any away for grading.
