Wanted to post about this so no one else here makes the mistake of doing business with this dude
More than a month ago, I decided to try buying something on Instagram for the first time (stupid, I know). I bought an aquapolis booster pack from this guy named weedle_guy on instagram and dobb1350_3 on eBay. He seemed really nice, and I talked to him for a while before purchasing. I developed a sense of trust, so I went through with transaction via Paypal f&f(also stupid).
The pack ended up arriving, but it was much different than the pack he had pictured. I told him, and he had no problem sending me another pack if I sent back the one I wasn’t happy with. I did this, and he told me he received it and would be sending a new pack ASAP.
The last time I heard from him was October 23. I’ve tried reaching out to him multiple times since then, but he’s ghosted me and blocked my account. I even tried reaching out on another account, but he hasn’t responded to that one either.
I know most of you are not dumb enough to buy things on Instagram using Paypal f&f, but I still wanted to share this just in case people were thinking of doing this. You really can’t trust anyone on Instagram, even if they seem extremely nice. PLEASE avoid this dude at all cost.
