Does anyone have any experience/advice regarding this? I mailed out a card (expected to arrive on 10/4) and USPS tracking was doing it’s usual thing (arrived, sorted, out for delivery on 10/4).

Got a message from Buyer today (10/7) asking if I had shipped out yet (tracking was provided, and they could have checked themselves… but oh well). I look and see a new entry on the USPS tracking.

October 4th, 2017, 10:46 PM - Delivery status not updated.

Could it it have been delivered and not scanned?

What options do I have now? I am thinking of calling in Tuesday morning if nothing has changed By then to inquire. Or Since it’s been 3 days since last update should I try to call today?

I would suggest calling them to inquire if it’s not delivered by Tues. Basically it means what it sounds like, that the package delivery wasn’t confirmed.

Sometimes it gets delivered but the driver doesn’t scan the label (for whatever reason). Other times it can mean that the driver ran out of time for deliveries that day (5.00pm cutoff) and the package stays on the truck -in this case the package can get stuck in limbo and can get shuffled around the facility for a few days.

It would be best to check in on it for the sake of your buyer.
