URGENT by 3:30 PM PST : need middleman in Las Vegas

Hi e4 members,

Got an urgent request (need commitment before 2PM PST, 11/25 Saturday). I want to buy a piece of antique, but seller only willing to do in-person pick-up.

The person resides about 3 miles southeast of McCarran International Airport and needs the item to be picked up by 3:30PM Pacific Std Time.

I am willing to offer $200 for pick-up. You will need to hold the item for me till I am able to fly to Vegas sometime next week to pickup. The antique is a vase.

Please let me know ASAP if you are able to offer your help! Appreciate it.

Can’t you just pay them and fly over next week to pick it up?

this seller was very particular about it. I thought of Gary too! :blush:

actually, this is generally a liability to hold inventory once it is not yours. auction houses charge insurance for any item they hold for you. so I am guessing this guy didn’t want that.
