So, I came across some images of cards from the e-era that possibly weren’t ever released? I personally don’t recognize the Pikachu, Pichu, Psyduck, Caterpie, Clefairy etc… There’s also a wall that includes these cards with many of the Pokémon VS cards. Does anyone know more about these?

[Pikachu, Abra, Spearow, Psyduck, Caterpie, Oddish, Wartortle](http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Unreleased_e-Reader_Pikachu_3.jpg)

[All the above minus Wartortle but added Dratini and Mareep](http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Unreleased_e-Reader_Pikachu_4.jpg)

[Lots of things + Clefairy](http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Unreleased_e-Reader_Cards.jpg)

[A wall of all of them plus VS cards](http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Unreleased_e-Reader_Cards_2.jpg)

They all appear to say sample in the corner. These also seem too early for the [unreleased Wailmer promo](http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:WailmerPromo.gif), but I also don’t really know anything about that one either to say anything for sure.

edit: I found more about where the images came from came from [link 1](http://game.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/20010825/ninten.htm), [Link 2](http://game.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/20011016/ninten.htm), [link 3](http://ascii.jp/elem/000/000/325/325548/index-3.html), [link 4](http://ascii.jp/elem/000/000/321/321417/), [Link 5](http://page.freett.com/9949/sw01report.htm)
