Troll & Toad’s buylist is $17,930, so I think it’s fair to assume that the market value of the box is $22k-$23k, minimum.

Crazy, though, because they had it on their buylist for ~$25k not too long ago. And they now have one for sale at $29k.

Buylist it to Troll and Toad for ~$24.5k in credit. Zero risk of getting scammed, zero headache, and you can pretty easily convert the credit into cash since they have good prices on many things. This is what I would do if I were in your situation, at least.

Looks like there are a couple on pwcc auction right now but I think the price is around the mid 20s for a mint box. Anyone have any additional data?

PWCC sold prices from 2 days ago were $22k and $23k. So more like low 20s. Current buylist prices also indicate that FMV is about $20k to $21k.

that lighting makes the colors on the box seem different, def did not do him any favors on price. Still far more than the box should be worth though

I was wanting to offload my base unlimited box for a while but just wasn’t getting any takers at 22k GBP, not helped by the fact it wasn’t in mint condition. I did a live box break on IG and sold all the packs within a 3 week period for a net total (I.e. After all overhead costs and fees) of just over £24k. EV on base set is low as someone else pointed out, but there’s still a strong market for verified unweighed packs. I wouldn’t be surprised if more people are cracking their boxes to get the best sale value out of them.

The box has tears and creases that aren’t on the shrinkwrap. Pretty clear that it’s inauthentic.
