Unexpected Sour Grape

I received two messages today on ebay in regards to a psa 10 1st Edition Shadowless machamp card. I have never sold to or communicated with this individual, and was confused by the level of salt:

“LOL!!! 400 dollars for this!? Have you hit your head on something you fucking retard this card will never be worth that, you can purchase the deck it comes in for under 40-50 dollars.”

“And no it isnt one of the most sought after cards, nobody wants that card, charizard is one of the most sought after cards well before machamp, this card has never been hard to get even to this day, and that card only comes shadowless so you should get your facts right dumbass”

Appropriate response: “Only thing nobody wants is you”

Best to just ignore people like that, it’s pointless to argue with someone who shows such a lack of intelligence

I agree. I was honestly flabbergasted; don’t get to use that word often.

Man, the south park episode where butters has to sift through the terrible comments on social media is how I feel sometimes on IG. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

I was called the “c” word twice from someone because I accidentally used the wrong image on a listing, it is a weird feeling getting a message like that from a stranger. I reckon they are just super jelly as they probably have been trying to sell their played Machamp for $5 with no bites for 3 months.

I think I made it a week on IG?

Then I was like: “I’m not making money and this does not make me feel like I’m enjoying my hobby more.” So I quit.
