Unexpected Refunds from CardBoard Gold

On Monday, I bought 2 cases of Card Saver 1s as soon as they went on sale on the Cardboard Gold website. Was very happy to finally get some for a decent price. Later that night, I get an email from PayPal that says I have a refund from them. I immediately check the order and it says the order is cancelled. I sent an email that night explaining how I’ve been waiting to buy them for a little while and I certainly didn’t cancel the order. I also asked why they cancelled the order and if they could reinstate it. They haven’t sent a response to me so I just bought a case on eBay for a hundred dollars more than Cardboard Gold prices as I’d like to send some more cards to Ludkins and I only have a few hundred Card Saver 1s left. Just wondering if anyone of you have had the same issue with Cardboard Gold and if you had success in getting the order you placed.

They probably just posted more quantity on the site than they had available and had to cancel your order. Pretty common for a lot of big stores and a popular item I’d say. Can’t you still get them on ebay for like $0.10 each from sellers? I mean you’re probably going to make a lot more on those PSA cards you’re sending in anyways to make up for the difference

I bought a box on eBay which was 325 plus tax so it was a little over 350. I wish I could get them for 10 cents a piece. Even CardBoard Gold sells them for more at 250 per case. I actually got an email from them after I posted this and they said they oversold and had to refund most orders and to try next time on March 1st. Seems crazy that they had to refund most of their orders. I feel like they should be able to simply limit the quantity of items on their site so when it sells out someone can’t order more.
