with number 1 im with you. i had to sell some of mine for financial issues that is a no brainer as there is no choice
for number 2 but if i did that then ill have to get rid of stuff i want to keep since everything i buy is stuff i want to keep haha

That some goals won’t ever be in your collection because you did not prioratized them or had to many cards you wanted. I got back into the hobby mid 2023, and knew about all my grails/collection goals by early 2025. I knew some promos and chases would rise in price (without even anticipating the post Illustrator boom) and because I was not organized enough or did not make enough side money, I’ve let some cards slip and I won’t be getting them anytime soon. I still get joy through completing smaller goals and even with simple artworks. The thing I like the most is collecting modern artists that are easy to complete (GOSSAN, dsuke, Akasaka, Akase, SIE NANAHARA, matazo…) without any crazy expensive cards.
