I’m curious as to what people’s thoughts are on the current price and future of these two cards (skyridge psa 9/10 & unlimited base 10). Is this just a long time in the making for the skyridge zard regarding the recent steep price increase? Do you guys see the skyridge 9 passing the unlimited 10 in price soon? Just looking for your opinion’s.

I think the 9s are well overpriced, but people seem happy paying $1500 for one. Doesn’t make sense to me if you can get a 10 under $3000.
It’s a possibility that Skyridge 9 goes past Unlimited 10 but I think it’s very unlikely tbh unless for some reason the Unlimited 10s stay flat at $2000-2500 for a very very long time and Skyridge somehow skyrockets.
I see both growing at about the same pace. We shall see in the next few years. 
I think unlimited base 10 will stay at the price it is currently at. With Skyridge it is hard to tell given the recent boom.
The skyridge 10s on ebay the sellers all want way over $3000. I feel like getting it for under $3k is going to hard now. I would be willing to pay $2.8k-$3k at this point
I feel that there is more room for growth for skyridge as compared to unlimited. Granted its not really from an ‘under the radar’ set but the recent boom reflects increased interest in cards from the last WOTC set. Unlimited is, in my opinion, a set that comes after 1st/shadowless and I guess the first/last of all things will always be monumental as compared to everything in between.
skyridge 9 overtaking unlimited 10 in value? probably not but I feel what is happening lately sure favors skyridge’s trajectory.
True. I was mainly talking about 9s going for too much tbh. Perhaps it’s the 10s that are underpriced as another member brought up lately.
Your question is quite relevant and no one saw Shadowless 9s catch up to Unlimited 10s just 1 month or so ago, so it’s not impossible. 
I have a skyridge zard PSA 10 and as mentioned in another thread before I have had several 2500-3k offers while it’s not even for sale. All the sellers on Ebay at the moment only want to sell it for a premium.
There has been alot of demand for the Skyridge zard PSA 10. Even on this forum there are multiple people who want to buy a Skyridge zard for 2800-3000. It’s a matter of time before a 10 get’s sold for another record amount.
As for the 9, I think the price is already very high at 1500-1700 USD. There’s not as much demand for the 9 as for the 10. I don’t think it is gonna rise alot more any time soon. I think there’s some stretch in prices for 10’s but not for 9’s at the moment.
However I can’t say the market has been very predictable as of late. Most cards have risen more than I expected them to.
I don’t think it’s gonna surpass the base unlimited zard 10 either.
PSA 10 Skyridge zard Holo was sold for $2700, celebi holo for $1.6k (or $2k if that sale went through) and Ho-oh holo for nearly $2k. A few years ago they were cheap, literally. But at that time, unlimited zard PSA 10 was still expensive. Will this Skyridge price rise contiune at the same pace? Maybe, but I think it’ll surpass the unlimited base Zards too. There’s less demand for it than the Skyridge set ( at least for now ) because so many people are busy investing in the shadowless set. however that may change in the future as well. Who knows, really…
