Thoughts on feedback I should give this seller ?

HAHA!!

This may make some question what PSA is doing, that includes me after the way we all examined it through photos

Was minor warping the only issue with it?

Minor warping, questionable centering, and a potential nick on a corner, I’ll have to double check that now though

Merry Christmas;)

And a Happy New Year (;

The “warping” is negligible. The centering is not that bad. Do you have a photo of the potential nick?

I am sorry, the nick was not in a corner, it was on the very top center of the card, just that little white dot (if you can see it):

I doubt the graders noticed as that is extremely tiny and doesn’t warrant knocking a card down a grade. This was me looking at it:

HA!

That was kind of my reaction at first also, but it was my first send-off so I was expecting the worst too

I think we were all trying to “out-think” the room here before pre-grading it ourselves.

At the end of the day the point is the guy definitely should not have listed an ungraded card with [INSERT GRADE HERE].

But I know in the end, I am happy now

Though on the red ball there is a huge scratch!

PSA graders are still human. Even though they’re experts, the difference between a 10 and 9 can still come down to the opinion of the person(s) grading the cards.

I know you already made up your mind on this, but I’ll add a bit to the discussion…
Maybe it would’ve been best to leave him a neutral or not leave feedback at all. Yes, you shouldn’t buy anything and assume the seller’s pre-grade will be the same as PSA’s (in this case, he was right). You definitely shouldn’t leave neutrals/negs or ask for refunds if PSA disagrees with the seller’s grade on the card unless the condition is no where near what the seller said it was. However, he did lie to you about the warping issue when you asked him- even though the photo contradicted his response. I don’t know that you’d want to reward sellers with positive feedback for flat-out lying to you…

This time things worked out well but they don’t always do, so it’s up to you what kind of feedback to leave in those situations

Hey thanks for adding to the discussion it could really help someone else out in the future reading this. I feel like even though he lied about the no “warp” the photos show otherwise so it my responsibility as much as his… though it goes to show what kind of seller he is for being dis genuine.

I still feel like leaving him bad feedback for be a bad representation of myself too. I look at like, you are walking down someones sidewalk and there is a huge sheet of ice, the owner of the house says don’t worry there is no ice. You can see clear as day there is 2inch thick ice, but decide to walk on it anyways, slip and break your leg. IMO you will have to take responsibility for that fall. OR maybe you get lucky like me and walk across it with no damage done

hope you get the metaphor (:

There could be a difference in interpretation of what a warp is too…lol.

*“A little warped”

Definitely! The old holo cards “warp” while they are still in their packaging. I remember breaking a jungle box a few years ago and every holo card I pulled was “warped”.

I never said you should leave a negative

Well, the feedback system is optional so you don’t really have to leave feedback if you don’t want to. When you choose to leave feedback however, it should be to show others what kind of service the guy provides. If he lies to customers, you should probably mention that so the next person who comes along doesn’t get lied to either.

Maybe he interpreted “warped” as something else as NZG said. I guess if that happened, you should’ve been a bit more clear? Idk, but guess it doesn’t really matter now lol. Just stay away from lying sellers, and you’ll usually be fine

Saw that as well.

I am just astonished the guy on eBay predicted that 10.
