Think my Evolving Skies has 38 packs, is this possible?

Sorry for the weird question. Does my booster box have an extra pack, 37 packs total? I have an Evolving Skies booster box I bought from an official Pokemon Vending Machine back in 2022 and finally bought a ln acrylic case for it. Tried putting it in but it won’t fit.

After looking at it, I saw it was fatter than other boxes I have and looking closely I saw a pack kinda stuck in the front.

This box weights 873grams or 1lb and 14.8oz. Since I don’t have a 2nd ES box to test against, I weight a Surging Sparks booster box and that was only 1lb 12.4oz. An average ES pack is .8oz, only scale I have access to is a postage machine scale lol.

So if anyone has an information or an ES box they can weigh, please let me know. Would be cool if it had 37 packs!

Edit:My Box 873g

So far 3 boxes were weight: 822g, 818g, 839g.

Here’s my two boxes. I don’t know much about common box errors so I can’t provide much else.

Thank you for the weights! So yours is average 820g or 1 lb 12.9oz, very close to the Surging Sparks box.

My box is 873g, it’s very strange, that’s almost 2 packs heavier if packs average around 22g.

My box is 839g. If this conversion is correct, that’s 1lb and 13.59oz

Thank you!

Bought a scale on Amazon and a friend brought a sealed ES box over for some testing, using the same scale.

My box weights 877.67g

,Their ES box is 832.89g, similar to @vanquished

The next two pictures are weights with 1 & 2 packs on top of the 2nd box.

Has anyone seen this before? I can definitely feel the difference when picking up the boxes.

I haven’t exactly done it but it looks possible to count the packs inside if you got a small and precise enough flashlight? The flaps cover half of the packs but there’s still a gap you can shine through.

That’ll allow you to verify how many packs there are but aside from that I’m not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
