PSA bulk grades finally back after nearly 5 months.
Overall, vintage got smacked and ultramodern did well (shocker…thanks PSA). The majority of my vintage cards were pack fresh (as in, I literally ripped the pack, held the card for about 3 seconds, and immediately placed it in a sleeve/card saver) and not a single one got a 10. Another good reminder that pack fresh does not equal a 10, especially now.
In any case, here are some highlights:
Bought this one in Japan and was ecstatic to see a 10 (this is also my favorite of the three newer lottery box promos):
Got four 10s of this Cubone (submitted 8), so here is one of the 10s. LOVE this artwork:

Got some rightful upcharges from a small Regular submission.
This Umbreon was in a bulk lot I bought for $25 about 10 years ago.
Pretty happy with these next two cards that I cracked. This phone card has some minor defects on the surface so I’m glad it was still able to get a 9. It’s finally out of the ugly BGS case.
The Latios was originally subbed with a Latias when I first graded the pair together, but the Latios got a 9 while Latias got the 10. Always felt robbed since I could never spot a single problem with it and consecutive certs would have been neat. At least I got some vindication with the grade.

This morning I finally received an email that my cards were shipped and I got my grades.
I bought the Glurak as a PSA 6 to crack out for my binder and I wasn’t able to find any defects warranting a 6.
The Virizion and Terrakion were both previously graded as PSA 8. I assume that the centering knocked it down because apart from that they were pretty clean.

Sequential players club promos! I sent this submission before things got crazy. I’d been saving a perfect copy of each, all with a swirl (PSA scans are hiding them 
) until i had a set i was sure would grade 10. In this climate I’m not so interested in PSA10 cards, so they will be sold instead.
About 2 months ago I bought another full sealed set for $400 so those will sit pretty in my collection instead!
Hyper Metal Dialga! Fun story. I opened a bunch of sealed decks a few years ago and got nothing. I sleeved all the regular half art ex’s and left them in a bulk box. I decided to grade a few earlier this year, and as I was checking the condition of one, I noticed the card was weirdly thick. As I went to take a closer look the two cards popped apart and voila, I had a secret rare all along! Blame Japanese humidity 
Last but not least, this cool Lucario promo. Actually very very hard to find. I’ve graded one before, but solely to help out @Animedogcollector (luckily it graded a 10 then too). I spotted a CGC Pristine on Fanatics going cheap so picked that up, cracked it, and it graded 10. CGC 10/Pristine are the best value graded cards on the market in my opinion…

I was just watching the video of yours where you bought out a card shop’s supply of sealed Dialgas for 20 each lol. I can’t believe how expensive these are now.

Your videos put me on to these; was able to pick up two sealed copies of Dialga from cardrush early last year before they sold out and prices hiked. Love the art a lot

Would anyone be willing to provide their grading results from PSA over the last few years. PSA allows you to download to a csv file. It’s a pretty easy process.
I’d like to run some analytics on grading results to see if we can uncover any patterns.

Some crazy upcharges, but yay! These weren’t random cards; I had specifically picked out 10 candidates from my binder. Curious what I missed on Flareon.

whats annoying is that I got 2 umbreons in grading. When I sent them in the psa10 price was 4500, now its over 5k. if I get $600 tier I’ll be so irked. so if a card is 4900 then the fee is 300, but if a card is 5200 then the fee is 600. so they steal the entire difference? there better be some flexibility. I wish to see cgc really challenge psa and force them to jump off the upcharge hill that they find themselves on so comfortably
