More than anything it just highlights how PSA are over-harsh on dents, i just can’t understand it.
I can look at the front and back of the card, and its flawless until you tilt it in the right light, and there is a dent on the back of the card. PSA6.
You can have a card covered in visible scratches and whitening. Very poor eye appeal. PSA7.

I also like to pull cards with my daughter. She doesnt understand the difference between sets yet and certainly doesnt understand card values, but she really loves the arts

Another return from the CA office at 86% gem rate on 106 cards. So crazy and consistent with previous grades from CA, wild how it’s unrelated and totally the same experience as the multiple submissions back from NJ at 45% gem rates…

Didn’t do well at all with my last sub. 5 cards to go to 100% the psa english raichu setlist at least but I was trying for high grades as well. At least 3 of the missing cards aren’t too difficult to do.

You know, there may be something to sabotaging an order by adding an extra card or leaving out a card, so it causes an issue with an order and ends up staying in Cali to be graded….
At least every order I’ve ever had that has had an issue like that ends up being graded in Cali, as if they don’t ship it to NJ until it’s in the grading stage and all check in is completed.
lol I will try that on my next submission, just put a random card in the stack not in a card saver and wait for the “what to do boss with this” email.
Although, it was always my impression that they ship stuff to NJ in receiving based on current load or something. Usually I see a 1-2 days delay between order received and order prep on orders that stay in CA while there’s an 8-11 day delay between those steps for NJ orders, presumably the time it takes to ship across country.

I think my most recent sub has gone to NJ. If it ever actually gets past R&ID I’ll let you know how I do. I usually also do around 80-90% 10 rate

@Kijamon @sherotcg It’s fun seeing the non-TCG stuff being graded! What was the one they didn’t end up grading? (It looks like a sticker?)

Any preference to in person drop offs? Is there any tracking with that? I usually mail in orders but I have a rather expensive order this time that I don’t mind driving a few hours to drop off in person. Process easy as well?

do you find that inconsistency is related to the submission level
as in, if I submit at the express tier level, i should expect well reviewed cards. Whereas bulk submission can be wild wild west?
My most recent completed submission took 16 days from order received → order prep, and it was shipped back to me from CA 
Then there’s still hope for me, just please PSA no more NJ!
