My second PSA order that I forgot to include in my first is returning this week!
So far, all my Japanese cards have been Gem Mint 10s. Hopefully, I can maintain this streak for a bit.

Yeah maybe you’re right as I’ve not seen a psa 4 jump to a psa 10. Plenty of 5s and 6s have. Anyway a psa 9 would still be a great jump up.

It’s unproductive to cherry pick misgrades and claim that this applies to PSA’s grading criteria generally. Where are the millions of correctly graded cards in this conversation? Your cards aren’t graded by “PSA,” but by individual graders - humans - who are fallible and can make mistakes all along the grading process from authentication to grading to correctly printing the label.

I don’t think there are millions of correctly graded cards. I think the ranges are huge. It should say on the label psa 6-10 95 percent reliable.
Just as a thought experiment, go through one Sunday’s worth of auctions on eBay and PWCC. That should be just under 10,000 Pokemon PSA slabs. Let me know how many card grades you disagree with.

I don’t actually need to do this there are more 10s at psa percentage wise their range is wider so there will naturally be more. Pictures and scans are useless really unless the damage is severe. The few cards I put in my psa sub to test them don’t even show the damage on the psa scans yet it is there.
What do you guys used to scan your cards? I don’t want to have to buy a whole scanner for cards lol. I want it to look like this
We use the Epson Perfection V600 for scans, works great.
I just want cool pictures of my cards in my phone

What about the chip at the top and whiting on the right corner?
It could be a 7, 8 or 9. The chips the worst looking bit imo but you see these a lot.
