I sent in a 13 Jumbo card submission that was received Nov 12th. It moved to grading status Jan 13. Expected completion shows March 6th.

Anyone else having trouble accessing their PSA account? I’ve tried logging in on pc and phone app, but keep getting this error after entering my email. No ad blockers or anything so not sure what the issue is. Been a couple days now of no access. Already sent PSA an email last night, but they haven’t responded.

No issues here.

No issues here, but thanks for reminding me to check my bulk order. Only 3 months to go :melting_face::melting_face::melting_face: never doing bulk again

I know this problem isn’t affecting many so it’s mainly me venting, but it’s been over a week now and I still have no access to my PSA account. Wanted to submit items this week, but I can’t create submissions. Had offers on a completed order, but couldn’t see them. No access to cards in my PSA Vault. Just a bit frustrating.

A PSA Rep did respond to my inquiry on Sunday, but they had no actual info to help. Told me they are working on it and to just keep checking if I could login.

Assuming the condition is in mint, just needing opinions on what the grade would most likely be. The Ancient Mew has a holo defect & centering a bit off, would this most likely be a 9 or 8?

The other 2 cards are also mint, but centering is a bit off. Would this be a 9 or could it possibly pass for a 10? I heard PSA may have a bit of wiggle room if the card is very sought after, or if very vintage, etc. Not sure though.

There’s a PSA 10 ā€œNintedoā€ error copy of Mew (same holo pattern) with a prominent vertical shim line, though it isn’t as thick:

Someone asked back in 2018 and it seems that others think it won’t hit a 10 though, due to the thickness of the shim line:

Otherwise, if the Topsun Venusaur isn’t stained (seems like it is most likely the room lighting adding that tint IMHO) then it’s still a bit more likely for it to not hit a 10/9/even an 8 as those cards are hard to grade. It being a ā€œno numberā€ variant makes it desirable off the bat, though.

The Munch Retrospective Psyduck has a hard time to reach a 10 as well, 1866 PSA 10’s and 6753 9’s = 8619 total PSA 9’s and 10’s so that means about 21% of mint copies of that promo have hit a full 10. Source:

I’ve been looking to buy a PSA 9 Game Boy Lugia promo, a newly listed one popped up, and saw this beauty of a back scan by PSA. Do you guys think all the scratches and hair are on the scanner or the card itself? Im thinking its on the card.

I want to say that the hair is almost definitely on the scanner, but both it and the scratches on the left border look like they end exactly where the card itself does.

I’d definitely reach out for some clarification if possible.

The hairs look like they’re caught in the ā€œcard bumperā€ on the side that they seem to end:

The case looks to be scratched as well on both sides, the deepest one I found was on the face.

I suspect the hairs are inside the slab with what I said, plus the card is also crooked, too. This is pretty sad either way, haha. Thanks for posting this.

On another note, might sell some of my most expensive non rayquaza cards to focus on getting a rayquaza gold star, and I don’t even care if it’s been through hell and back ngl.

Btw r u going for Eng or JP or just Eng?

Either or. If It’s affordablle I will buy it.

I still have over like 130 singles to still sell, but it’s probably only gonna get me about 300 bucks. then I have to sell my most expensive cards. I probably will put PSA cards into the auction (except for rayquaza ex 2004) and CGC cards will prob be sold on my ebay, and the Hops Zacian if it gets a Black Label will be sold on my ebay. Hoping to get a Black Label but not holding my breath.

Also I’m not joking about the condition. If it’s been through the washing machine I will still take it.

Yeah and who knows maybe if you want a minter one down the road you can upgrade.

Does anyone know PSA current stance on grading curved cards? Just opened up an older box and the cards came very curved.

Should I just place them inside a sleeve and inside some books to be safe or do they still not really mind?

You mean warping?

To my knowledge PSA does not take it into consideration and it shouldn’t impact the grades.

Correct warping. Wanted to ask in here because a friend let me know that he recently had 3 cards come back as PSA 6, which were warped. They pressed them, and they gemmed on the second attempt.

Looking to find out if anyone else has had that experience recently as well.

I’d chock that up to an inexperienced or shitty grader. Lots of them at PSA right now.
