The Giant Professional Grading Thread

The bottom edgewear is a bit noticeable, but otherwise it looks pretty typical.

Wow imagine getting upcharged by PSA after they damaged your cards. L

Best part is PSA didnt even notify the submitter about the damages. No accountability.

It seems like PSA has lost a package with 3 sign Arita cards, I sent it in with value 499$, any chance PSA cover more then this 499$ when they lose the cards at PSA?

What card is worth is hopeless to say, but for me a lot, since i don’t see Arita very often, but PSA value might be low. Since I was in no hurry, and have no idea of value, i sent it inn with 499$

If you sent it in at max declared value of $499, PSA will only be obligated to hand out $499 for each card even if it is worth more unfortunately.

Has anyone had experience of them finding the cards again after months?

They arrived on June 9
R&I 29 June

Since nothing.

And they say they’re looking for the cards.

I haven’t graded with any company and went with Beckett for my first submission. Paid for the 10-20 days service.

It’s now 23 days since I received the email saying “turnaround time starts one business day after today.”

Do people get a partial refund if the amount of time exceeds the service they paid for?

That would be nice but no. While turnaround times have improved, they are still subjective.

Has it been 23 days or 23 business days? Big difference

As always psa will always hold a premium over cgc and bgs

The PSA 10 premium over the PSA 9 is so ridiculous

I wonder how it would look if there was a black label or cgc prestine or what those sales would look like rather.

What’s up with PSA and the reverse upper right corners?
Have been seeing this pop up more frequently.

Probably something calibrated wrongly if it keeps happening in the same spot.

No idea why they don’t fix it, but then again, if people complain but keep submitting, then what incentive do they have to fix it?

It’s happening consistently in that corner. I’ve had a couple friends who had the same issue plus i believe it has been brought up by other forum users a couple of times

I believe its happened before, but Ive had no such luck.

With cards going missing and corner damage happening a lot (which i have personally experienced on my submissions), I personally no longer really feel interested in grading cards for the forseeable future. This actually shakes out nicely with how cheap graded cards are these days lol. Not worth the risk when you could just buy it already graded for around the same cost :person_shrugging:

I had a nice 10-card sub earlier this year, every card was Gem aside from the one that PSA fucked in the upper right, I’m am not going to grade with them until they resolve this issue.

Looks like they found out.
