Whats the reason one is at auction ongoing rn at 1.3k$, while there is a BIN for less with even a newer cert? Is this just shill bidding or ignorance?
Very likely Asian buyer buying close to home since that is a Singapore based consignment shop. There’s plenty of US based ones with lower BIN like the one you posted and this
If you take this offer, do it through Ebay authenticity guarantee if you can, and remember that items sold for >$750 on Ebay require signature on delivery for seller protection (not sure if this is an issue if you’re shipping to an authenticator though).

How is the best offer higher than the BIN price on that PLAY Mew?
Edit: Ah, I saw it was USD/AUD. I didn’t know you could have two different currencies in the same picture.
It’s in AUD (Australian Dollars), The BIN price is in USD
You are right, I just saw it. Did not know that was possible.
Thx
Christ. I bought the right mew promo for 150$ less than 2 years ago. Thats a 233x
Edit there is a recent one for half, wonder if that 35k was a shill buy for comp
another mew card going 10x in 6 months lool
Always
It’s wild that you can but a raw LP copy for 20 bucks…
I buy the Money Laundering theory more and more with each passing day.
I’m convinced that most cards that are either a popular species, vintage wotc/ex holo, or exclusive promo with moderately low PSA 10 pop is netting thousands.
Question, the Ancient Mew I 1999 early correction PSA 10, from eBay only, last one sold I think for around 3.7k, but there are now 3/4/5 PSA10’s for 20k & up, hasn’t sold, but it’s asking price.
My question is, what would you price a PSA 10 realistically? Is the push for upping the price by these sellers (& being that it’s the only ones on eBay with a very high price) a major factor in it’s value or is it only going by the cost of the last one sold? Because, on eBay anyway, if you want a PSA 10 the only option is to cough up like 20k + since there aren’t any others on there. So… how does that work?
I have the card but ungraded, & there’s almost none (like 2 I think) that are ungraded on eBay.
The nintedo error one is selling for 9k$ right now, thats the bare minimum
The corrected I has the least 10s, technically should trade above the error one but historically its been volatile.
If you want one you simply need to be patient. An auction will come up eventually. I had to wait months while the BIN was at 85k with offers deactivated lol. It was demoralising but eventually one came up
Based seller
Its still online. I actually think it is going to sell one day, just a matter of when
Some update: a 1st ed japanese goldstar mew sold privately for 120k$
