The crazy thing is that these do not even look like they have PSA 10 centering.
Typical 2 cert. Have you seen the 10 Masaki Gengar that’s at $84k auction on Fanatics right now? I wouldn’t even buy it if it was an 8
Why would someone pay that when there is one up for auction right now on goldin that could go for much cheaper
FOMO about it not going for much cheaper. Sometimes people anticipate a higher closing price than the one being offered privately, and so they may wish to secure that private sale prior to the public auction closing.
Alternatively, they may also just not be aware of it. There are a lot of newcomers that are not aware of all the platforms, and there a those who simply don’t scan every auction house due to how many there are and how many listings you have to trawl through across each of them. Obviously, at this price point this becomes much less believable and likely, but just throwing out potential reasons.
Another reason is they don’t believe the auctioned copy is appropriately graded, or “weak”
Can anyone tell me how I see the page which shows the bidder information that is like ‘50% of users bids are with this seller’?
This card is 3x the last sale a week or two ago so I’m trying to see if its gigashilled
click on where it says “55 bids” underneath the price or the following link might work >
Then click on the bidder you want to look at
Cause they probably didnt
winner has 36% and second place has >80% of bids just on probstein

its coz its a “private sale” :trustmebro:
This has crossed my mind hundreds of times this year with hundreds of different cards. ![]()

A sealed Luigi Pikachu box was just sold for 13.5k at a show over the weekend.
That CGC 10 Pristine Trophy Kang though! The colors of the label and card itself go together so well!
Fossil Dragonite going crazy. Who are these people suddenly interested in vintage?
This was a 1,5k card 3 months ago.
