I was browsing some cards and found it quite Curious that a PSA 10 goes for basically the same amount as an ungraded card. Since I only found a handful of sales, I was wondering if this is the norm for this card or just an outlier? Other Trainer/Promo non holo cards usually still carry a PSA 10 Premium.

I’d say this is a classic case of auctions vs buy it now for low end cards at the moment. You can get some crazy deals right now on these types of auctions!

Yeah, I thought it would, maybe due to the current market situation. I was just wondering about the value diffrence was overall, since @TCGFish doesn’t have the card listed.

Seeing several bidders at this amount is a bit shocking to me. I’ve thought that PSA 10 Fan Club Eevee is a $10,000+ card, but I didn’t think that it would be so in 2024.

PSA 10 Masaki Gengar had no business selling near $30,000.

Every other sale in 2023 was <$13,000:

  • $10,500 6/23
  • $12,420 9/23
  • $10,100 11/23
  • $10,500 12/23

To my knowledge, yes. Most PSA 10 sales happened in 2020-2022 for $5,000-$8,000.

The most recent sale before this was $12,501 (assuming it was paid for).

Edit: These were public sales. Maybe there were private ones that I am not privy to.

Eevee just sold for $7,629 on RareCandy. Shows how strong the PWCC premium is vs. a less used platform.

The orb and victory ring in the folder feel cheap for what they are. This opinion has no data behind it, I’m not sure what in folder copies typically sell for

I feel the same about the pikachu ring with plaque as well. Might be something with the condition perhaps. But they indeed feel cheap

Agreed. A lot of these would have ended higher on eBay, PWCC, Heritage, Goldin.
