A couple of big 1st Ed Base Set sales. A few others in the same block, but they didn’t achieve such significant differences from recent sales.
Maybe a couple of bidders were desperate for some thick stamps? The back left edge of the Blastoise didn’t look great…

well i am not entirely sure about the art academies there was one pika that sold for like 140k on Alt they are pretty cool but since one person holds the entire supply they can easily flood and tank the price if/when they decide to cash out

How do Alt auctions work? bidding was supposed to end at 6pm, yet it has been saying 4min55sec of extended bid for an hour an ten min where it just resets the clock to 5min. Nobody is bidding on the item im looking at, im the highest bidder. i see other auctions timer reset too.
It gets extended if any item on the block gets a bid. It’s awful.

I assume the idea is to hopefully squeeze more bids out of people as it not only gives more time for the auction to occur as well as continually recreates the psychological building of “oh no the auction is about to end, I need to bid so I don’t miss out!”
It’s stupid and annoying. Alt’s interface in general is a terrible experience.

200 to 1000 in 5 months for an old FA is insane. you can list basically any full art from BW or XY at w/e price you want know even though they were pretty worthless a year ago
