Always surprises me the distance between Charizard and the rest. Imo blastoise should be half of Charizard in PSA 10. Venusuar should be half of that. But hype is not evenly distributed

anyone else experiencing more trouble than usual with tcgplayer? the market price seems to randomly choose a condition when i view it, and it’s hard to change conditions to see the true NM market

Tcgplayer actually just added a bar plot with quantity sold by week. Pretty helpful to sift through the buy outs vs. organic

Love to see it

English alt arts have mostly returned to pre pump levels. rip to people who were buying in the last 2 months

Who would have thought, when theres hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of psa 10’s of these cards that are ready to be sold when the price increases too much in a short period of time.

People are paying more for a brand new pristine 0 miles Kia Soul

Than used near mint Lamborgini, Ferrari’s etc.

Wild.

P.s. If theres is any Kia owner offended, i own a Ford…

Paying 10-15x premiums on easy to grade ultramodern cards that are literally still in print is one of the dumbest things I’ve seen in my time in the hobby. There’s zero chance these retain their value over the next 5 years

not dumb when u can sell ur modern black labels to make ur vintage psa 10 almost free

This has been happening for about 5 years now, seems like it just became the norm.

Scarlet and violet has terrible print quality. This can be seen by the PSA ratio. A black label is a lot harder than you’d expect, although there will be quite a few given the amount of specific cards exist.

Want to second this. Its gotten better, but in the early sets you for sure weren’t getting black label quality a lot of the time.

Always be the second person to buy a low pop vintage PSA 10 card.

Was that the same card? I did a quick search in sold and didn’t see the 21k.

It’s the same cert, but they removed the sold price. I think it’s safe to assume it wasn’t paid for

Now:

Right after auction ended (c: @TorterraSimp ) :

Oh 100%, it wasnt showing up under sold listings either which is usually the indicator of whether or not something was actually paid for.

I think this one is actually paid for, it just sold last night

edit: I should’ve scrolled up, I didnt realize this is old news now
