The Giant eBay Garbage Thread

It’s always the PSA 9 holders talking like this

Love your response :joy:

Investo-bros are SO freakin’ annoying.

…Tho I do live off 9s, and I’d never presume to talk like this. But you’re kinda right.

Those damn PSA 9-bros!! /s

Not Pokemon related, but I just love getting messages like this sarcasm. I get it. Try to get the best deal you can, but you aren’t cleaning out a whole warehouse’s stock… There are two for $17 a piece… There’s a limit to how gracious a seller can be to try and make a sale…

and after just finishing telling him I can’t afford to discount it any more than what it’s at already… block…

The time wasted by some people to save $10.

The older I get the more I realize that I’d rather spend money to avoid spending time doing something. That amount of money I’m willing to spend only increases as more gray hairs appear on my head lol.

Rising tides lift all boats, except the dirty poor people who don’t deserve to have hobbies

Yes. Their boats have holes, and they just drown.

That got dark…

The sad thing is, it’s not about “dessert” but simply ability. I think everyoine should be able to enjoy hobbies, but some hobbies just take no mercy and have tides that sink boats.

Add this buyer to your block list: gerelus

They bought 2 items from me and used an invalid address. One purchase went through authenticity, both cards were not delivered. I don’t know how the one from authenticity will work, but the direct card finally returned after weeks. Meanwhile the guy opened multiple cases and a payment dispute. Even if this was a genuine mistake, it was such a waste of time. Listing directly on Ebay is the past, Vaulting is the future.

Hard agree on vaulting is the future.

One of the reasons I don’t like selling on Ebay is dealing with the shipping. It’s a headache in Europe with no integrated Ebay shipping option. Most shipping is expensive and not all of it offers tracking even for packages.

We need a Vault option in Europe, and an easy way to be able to put our vaulted cards for sale.

hmmm…
Might be ignorant buyer.
Might be scam loaded for bear.

Can’t believe how many people have such small goals for scamming or fear.
I’d respond something like this: “Can you specify and photograph which elements appear fake to you? so that if ebay gets involved, we’ll have evidence?”

If they’re genuine, they might play. If scammer, they’ll just blow you off.

And if the thing goes bad, please share their uname and listing link.

ruined a perfectly fine card lmao

Yes they are an idiot for ripping a real card, but posting their name address and phone is unhinged. Just leave their username so people can block them.

You probably shouldn’t dox their address and phone number. eBay user name is sufficient.

buyer ruined genuine card in an emotionally rash decision, and tried to claim it was fake instead of accepting and admitting,

“I’m a dumbass.”

Simple mistake? Pure laziness? Doesn’t know how to use Google Lens or the like, or, eBay in general? Sheesh, careful out there boys and gals.

Nothing egregious, just your run-of-the-mill ‘what’s your lowest’ (asked again after I asked what their highest offer was :joy:)

Damn it, i thought they literally said “what’s your lowest”. I’d respond “probably when my wife left and took the kids”.
