It’s also funny they are relying on you to “read between the lines” in their comment when they claim ebay isn’t paying attention
Like any good con, they’re just being indirect. Low-key. You know, playing it cool.
Read between the lines, PFM.

Lol title says perfect condition yet not even a sleeve in sight.
Found some decent played condition deals when I followed the link, but I can’t justify… These just aren’t selling like they used to… Though maybe an opportunity to replace and sell NM collection copies? ![]()
I present to you The Worst Toploader I’ve ever been sent a card in from a seller. I have kept it, its in a sealed bag. Its a biohazard. This toploader is known to the state of california to cause cancer.
someone please tell me how on earth this is even possible?
That toploader has a smoker’s cough
They store it in formaldehyde for classroom demonstrations
How does it smell?
You’re telling me you guys aren’t sending your cards out in the Pissloader? Amateur hour in here smh
This had me rolling ![]()
Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a saga that is going to unfold. I might just give up on this goal at this point. If I find one I find one, but I’m tired of this. I thought I had finally gotten a Nordic No e-reader dot code kyogre. And yes, we can pontificate on my lack of due diligence on vetting the seller account, but that aside, I just wanted to get even a crummy copy of each one and work my way up to a NM-M copy of each should any ever even pop up.
Since the note has the handwriting of a 5 year old I’ll do my best to decipher it plus I kind of had it covered. I was in a fuming rage and just took the photo quick without thinking about good composition.

I contacted ebay and they told me I need to play patty cake with this knob gobbler before they will take action. (pre-emptive, yes I did buy another copy from him without realizing it was the same person, but it happened before this switcheroo happened).
me:
hello, I am not happy with what you did. Please refund me the price of the item. You scammed me. If you want your spinarak card back, we can arrange for me to return it and you can pay for the shipping cost. If the other card you supposedly sent comes and doesn’t have the right card either, I will be sure to report you to ebay for scamming me twice. I am not interested in any excuses or lies. Just do the right thing here and now.
In closing, yes, I made some blunders here. And actually I got scammed almost a year ago now I think, for the groudon. and ebay I guess just lets people off the hook if you try to be nice and give people a little time for the package to be sent and arrive. I was trying to give leeway since international shipping sometimes can hang for a while and get stuck along the way. So I’ve now been scammed for these cards twice. I post this, more as a fun saga for you guys, than to exactly garner sympathy because I got bamboozled twice now and its probably my fault for being too eager.
Sending the wrong cards on purpose plus a note asking that they hold you over until the right ones arrive is wild. Good luck! My understanding is that eBay is decent with this sort of thing so at least there’s hope of getting your money back.
That is absolutely wild!
Ebay will have your back
Last time I saw something this crazy:

I won an auction for a really nice Shining Charizard that showed a toploader just like that in the listing pictures, yellowed and scratched up as hell. I drove to the sellers house with a penny sleeve and a proper toploader to pick it up, just to make sure that it wasn’t shipped in that toploader.
Ongoing case here - I sold an item back in November, and when I entered the tracking I accidentally put the wrong carrier. Fast forward 1 month the seller claims item not received.
I see this and immediately find my mistake, correct it and sure enough it was delivered 3 days after I shipped it. After I corrected the carrier I notify the buyer through the pre-appeal system (ofcourse no answer) and somehow they win the appeal. So i’m out the card and the money. Just sent another appeal in with more information, fingers crossed.
Buyer: Ludacards
Looks like they changed their username, the block list doesn’t recognise it ![]()
Try a lowercase “L”, I typed it as uppercase to not confuse it was a capital i
Yeah that worked, I didn’t realise it was case sensitive! Hope this gets resolved
