Found the thread i was thinking of, not the same photo but i don’t remember if it was discussed in another thread too. Kinda scary if you can’t tell anymore if some art is made by artist or AI my guess would anyway be that the complete art isn’t made by original artist since it has so much empty space/repeating background which kinda feels like empty work when illustrating the cards and the same entity would be achieved with much less space used. But nevertheless a very cool sight!

There is a very traditional Japanese style to the Kingdra, especially with the way the water is illustrated. I love it.

Just looked up akagi’s PkMn portfolio and Twitter, I’ve noticed their work before, with similar elements to Arita and Egawa, as well as other styles. I like them, all, but there’s so much variation… IDK how it’ll look in a binder. Still, solid work, and definitely keeping on my radar. This is my fave, I think. Totally different from the Kingdra.
